Alright, listen up, y’all. We gonna talk about this here basketball game, France versus Brazil, alright? I don’t know much about these fancy teams, but I heard they gonna be throwin’ the ball around at the Olympics. That’s in Paris, some fancy place over the water, I reckon.
So, this France versus Brazil game, it’s a big deal, see? They say it’s part of the Olympics, men’s basketball, group stage. Sounds important, eh? They got these fellas, tall and strong, runnin’ and jumpin’, tryin’ to get that ball in the hoop. I tell ya, it’s like watchin’ chickens fightin’ over corn, only with more sweat and less feathers.
Now, I ain’t got no fancy cable TV, but they say you can watch this game on somethin’ called “Peacock” and “NBC Universal channels.” Sounds like a bunch of squawkin’ birds to me, but I guess that’s how city folks watch things these days. And them folks in Brazil and France, they got their own ways to watch, somethin’ called “Globo” and “CazTV” over there, and “France Tlvisions.” Too many names if you ask me.
This game, it’s happenin’ on Saturday, July 27th. Mark it on your calendar, if you got one of them fancy things. I just remember it by when the rooster crows extra loud, that’s usually a good sign somethin’s happenin’. They gonna be playin’ in a big stadium, Pierre Mauroy Stadium they call it. Sounds like a mouthful, I just call it a big barn where they bounce the ball.

Now, I heard tell that France beat Brazil in their first game, 78 to 66. That’s a lot of points, even for someone who counts eggs all day. But this here is another game, a knockout stage, they say. That means if you lose, you’re out, like a chicken with its head chopped off. So, these fellas gotta play their best, run their fastest, and throw that ball real good.
They gonna have all sorts of numbers and stats, like how many times they get the ball in the hoop and how many times they miss. I don’t pay much attention to that. I just watch if the ball goes in or not. That’s all that matters, see? Like when you’re plantin’ seeds, you don’t need to know how many worms are in the dirt, you just need to know if the plants grow.
So, if you wanna watch some fellas runnin’ and jumpin’ and throwin’ a ball around, tune in to this France versus Brazil game. It’s gonna be a hoot, I tell ya. Or maybe it won’t be. I don’t know, I’m just tellin’ ya what I heard. But it’s the Olympics, and that’s supposed to be a big deal, so it might be worth watchin’ while you’re shellin’ peas or somethin’. Just don’t expect no chickens or roosters playin’, it’s all just tall fellas and a bouncy ball.
And remember, it’s on July 27th. Don’t forget now. And if you do forget, well, it ain’t the end of the world. There’s always next year’s chicken fight to look forward to, right?
Anyways, that’s the gist of it. France versus Brazil, basketball, Olympics, Paris. Got it? Good. Now, go on and get yourself some sweet tea and wait for the rooster to crow, that’s how you know it’s time for somethin’ big to happen.
The game starts at 3 p.m. ET, whatever that means. City folks with their fancy times. Around here, we just go by sunrise and sunset, and when the cows come home. But if you wanna see this game, you gotta figure out that 3 p.m. ET thing yourself.
