Okay, so I’ve been wanting to go to a WWE event for ages, and when I saw they were coming to Wichita, KS in 2024, I knew I had to make it happen. This is my journey, start to finish.

Getting Hyped and Planning
First thing I did was check the WWE website for the official announcement. Yup, there it was – Wichita, INTRUST Bank Arena, 2024! I was instantly buzzing. I started looking at dates, which wasn’t hard since it was a one-night event. The date was set.
Next, I needed to figure out who I was going with. I texted a couple of buddies who are also big wrestling fans. One was in, one was out – classic. So, two of us were locked in.
Ticket Time
The ticket buying process was a little stressful, gotta admit. I set a reminder on my phone for when tickets went on sale. I jumped on the computer that morning, refreshed the page like a madman, and managed to snag two seats. Not the best seats, but hey, we were in!
We opted for e-tickets, straight to my phone. Easy peasy. I immediately took a screenshot, just in case. You never know with technology.
The Pre-Show Buzz
We spent all that waiting time talking it up, who was fighting who. The anticipation was building.!
- Who is going to be there?
- What matches do we want to see?
- Wonder if so-and-so is gonna win?
Finally, the day arrived. We decided to get there early to soak up the atmosphere. I’m glad we did because the energy outside the arena was electric. People everywhere in their favorite wrestler’s shirts, chanting, and just generally hyped.
Inside the Arena
We found our seats, grabbed some overpriced (but necessary) snacks and drinks, and settled in. The lights went down, the music hit, and the crowd went wild. It was awesome!
I won’t bore you with a play-by-play of every match, but let me tell you, it was a blast. The energy in the arena was incredible. We were cheering, booing, and chanting along with everyone else. It was a total sensory overload in the best way possible.

Post-Show Glow
After the show, we were both buzzing. We walked out with the crowd, still talking about our favorite moments. We even ended up buying a couple of souvenir shirts to remember the night.
Overall, going to the WWE event in Wichita was a fantastic experience. It was everything I hoped it would be – loud, exciting, and full of energy. I’m already looking forward to the next one!
