Okay, so I’ve been hyped for Wuthering Waves, like really hyped. I saw some gameplay and was instantly hooked. So, naturally, the first thing I did was try to figure out when this thing was actually coming out.
Initially, I just googled it, you know, the usual “Wuthering Waves release date.” Lots of articles popped up, but I wanted something more concrete.
Digging Deeper
I remembered the developers, Kuro Game, had a livestream a while back. I scrolled through their official channels – YouTube, Twitter, the whole nine yards – trying to find that livestream. It took a bit of hunting, but I finally found it. It was from March 29th, 2024.
I skipped through the video, because, let’s be honest, I just wanted the release date. And there it was! They clearly stated that Wuthering Waves would be released on May 22nd, 2024. Boom! Finally, a solid date.

I immediately went to the official website and pre-registered. It’s pretty standard stuff – you get some in-game goodies when the game launches, which is always a nice bonus.
So, yeah, that’s my little adventure in confirming the release date. May 22nd – it’s marked on my calendar! I can’t wait!
