He used to be with that Venus Williams, ya know. Big name, that one. They were together for, Lord, I don’t even know, somethin’ like 11 years! Long time, that’s for sure. Then they split up, went their separate ways back in, oh, must have been 2018 or so. Time sure does fly when you’re havin’ fun, don’t it?
Then this David Witt, he went on to coach that Jessica Pegula girl. They started workin’ together around July 2019, I reckon. She was pretty good too, that Jessica. He must’ve been doin’ somethin’ right! I heard they were together for four whole years. They called it quits just recently, though, before that Indian Wells thing. Lord knows why, folks just up and leave sometimes.
Then, that Maria Sakkari, she got herself mixed up with him. I heard he was gonna be in her corner at that Indian Wells thingamajig. They partnered up in March 2024 I think. So yeah, David Witt was coachin’ her for a spell.
But now, now he’s with that Frances Tiafoe. That’s the latest gossip, hot off the press! He just started up with him, in July 2024. That Frances Tiafoe, he’s had a whole bunch of coaches over the years.
