Alright, so you wanna know when the next WWE thingy is, right? The one you gotta pay for, the PPV, or whatever them young folks call it now, PLE? Listen up, I’ll tell ya what I know. It ain’t easy keeping track of all this wrasslin’ stuff, but I got my ways.
First off, they had this Day 1 thingy in San Diego on January 1st, 2024. That’s done and gone. Then there was a whole bunch of other shows, RAW and Smackdown, they got every week. But you ain’t askin’ about that, are ya? You wanna know about the big ones.
- WrestleMania
- Royal Rumble
- SummerSlam
These are the big names, the ones everyone talks about. You can get tickets for ‘em, see ‘em live, but that’s a whole other story. They got ‘em on that Peacock thing too, and some other places like Disney+ HotStar and Flow, whatever those are. All this newfangled stuff, hard to keep up, I tell ya.
Now, they used to call these things pay-per-views, see? ‘Cause you had to pay to watch ‘em. But now they call ‘em Premium Live Events, or PLEs. Same thing, just a fancy name, far as I can tell. They do it once a month, mostly.
So, when’s the next one? That’s the real question, ain’t it? Well, lemme see… I heard somethin’ about one in December, on the 14th, Saturday Night Main Event, in New York. That’s gonna be on Peacock and NBC, they say. A simulcast, whatever that means. Sounds fancy.
But if you’re lookin’ for the next next one, after that December show, it sounds like it’s gonna be the Royal Rumble. They always have that one early in the year, so it makes sense. People get all excited about who’s gonna win and go on to WrestleMania. That’s the biggest one of ‘em all, you know.
They changed things up a bit, ya know. Used to be, they had these big shows on Sundays. But then this fella, Nick Khan, the president or somethin’, he decided Saturdays were better. Said big sports events do better on Saturday nights. So now they do it then. And they always got some talkin’ before the wrasslin’, interviews and such. Experts they call ‘em. Analyzin’ the lineup, whatever that means. Just a bunch of yappin’ if you ask me.
So, to recap, ‘cause I know it’s a lot to take in:
- They had a bunch of shows already, including Day 1.
- The next big one is Saturday Night Main Event on December 14th, 2024.
- After that, it’s probably gonna be the Royal Rumble.
You can watch these on Peacock mostly, and sometimes on other channels, like I said. And they got those weekly shows too, RAW and Smackdown. But those ain’t the PPVs, or PLEs, or whatever you wanna call ‘em. They’re just the regular shows.
Now, I don’t know all the exact dates and places, you gotta look that up yourself. But I give you the gist of it, right? They got a whole schedule of these things, and it changes all the time. You gotta keep your ears open, or just ask someone who knows. Like me, I guess. I might be an old lady, but I still know a thing or two about wrasslin’. Don’t you go forgettin’ that now.
And if you really wanna know for sure, go check them websites or somethin’. Ringside Intel, they got a schedule, I heard. But don’t go gettin’ lost in all that internet mumbo jumbo. Just find the date and time, and be done with it. That’s what I always say.
So, there you have it. That’s the story on when the next WWE pay-per-view, or Premium Live Event, is gonna be. Hope that helps ya out. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make myself a cup of tea. All this talkin’ about wrasslin’ makes me tired.
