Alright, let’s talk about tracking down White Iron Chunks. I needed a whole bunch for some crafting the other day, you know how it goes, always short on something.

My Usual Starting Point
So, first thing I did was head over to the spots I kinda know. My go-to starting area is usually around Stormbearer Mountains and Brightcrown Canyon up in Mondstadt. It’s pretty open, easy to run around.
I teleported to the waypoint near the mountains. Then I just started hoofing it along the base of the cliffs there. I always check near the rock walls, sometimes tucked away behind bigger rocks or even some bushes. Found a few nodes scattered about pretty quick, which was a decent start.
Next Stop: Wolvendom
After clearing out my usual spots there, I figured Wolvendom was worth a shot. Teleported closer to the wolf boss arena place. It’s another spot where they tend to pop up.
I spent some time poking around the cliffs and ledges in that area. Didn’t find huge clusters, but picked up quite a few individual chunks. You gotta keep your eyes open, they blend in sometimes. Checked near the trees and rocky outcrops mainly.
Heading Over to Liyue
Mondstadt was okay, but I still needed more. So, next stop was Liyue. That place is usually packed if you know where to look.
- Qingce Village Area: I started around Qingce. Checked the hills nearby and especially the terraced fields area. Found some nodes near the bamboo and rocks.
- Mt. Aocang & Jueyun Karst: This is where I usually hit the jackpot. Teleported straight up to Mt. Aocang. Flew around the central peak, checking all the little paths and cave entrances. Found tons up there, really concentrated. Then I just glided over towards Jueyun Karst, hitting the cliff faces as I went. More chunks there too. These mountains are just loaded.
- Lingju Pass & Dunyu Ruins: Sometimes I swing by Lingju Pass too, check the cliffs around there. And the areas near Dunyu Ruins can have a few nodes hidden around the structures and rocks.
Wrapping Up the Hunt
So yeah, my process is pretty simple. Teleport, run a route, smack the rocks. I focus on cliff bases, cave mouths, and just general rocky terrain.
The best spots for me this time? Definitely Mt. Aocang and the surrounding peaks in Liyue. Just way more chunks packed together compared to Mondstadt. Took a bit of running around, but I ended up grabbing quite a bit, enough to get my crafting done. Just gotta put the time in and check those rocky areas.
