Okay, so I’ve been messing around with Clash Royale again lately, specifically 2v2, and let me tell you, finding a good deck can be a real pain.
I started off by just throwing together cards that I liked, you know? Didn’t really think about synergy or anything. I was just picking high-damage troops and hoping for the best. Big mistake! We got crushed. Repeatedly.
So then I tried copying some decks from the leaderboards. You’d think those would be amazing, right? Nope. Still losing. I realized it’s not just about having the right cards, it’s about knowing how to use them together, especially in 2v2 where your teammate’s deck matters a lot too.
After many tries, I started experimenting. I started by picking one card that I knew really well, like the Hog Rider. Then, I thought about what could support it. What are its weaknesses? What kind of spells work well with it?
- First, I paired the Hog Rider with the Valkyrie.
- Second, the Valkyrie can take out swarms, and the Hog can target buildings. Great start.
- Then I add some ranged support, like a Musketeer, to deal with flying troops.
- Added a big spell, like Fireball, to take out groups, and a small spell, like Zap, to reset enemy troops or defenses.
Finally, I started noticing patterns in our losses. Were we getting overwhelmed by air units? I’d swap in another anti-air card. Were we struggling against tanks? I’d add a high-damage card like Mini P.E.K.K.A. or a building to distract them.
I started looking at my teammate’s deck more closely at the start of each match. If they had a lot of ground troops, I’d make sure I had some air support, and vice versa. Communication is key, even if it’s just through emotes. I used the “thumbs up” emote a lot, believe me.
After a bunch of trial and error, I finally found a deck that worked. It’s a combination of Hog Rider, Valkyrie, Musketeer, Fireball, Zap, Goblin Gang, Inferno Tower, and Ice Spirit. It’s not perfect, but we started winning way more often. We still had to adjust our strategy based on the enemy decks, but we had a solid foundation.
The key takeaway?
Patience and observation. Pay attention to what works and what doesn’t. Don’t be afraid to change things up, and don’t get discouraged by losses. It’s all part of the process, you know. And most importantly, have fun with it! It’s just a game, after all.
And also, pay attention to your teammate. Communication and coordination will help you improve your win rate.
It is not an easy task but not impossible. Just use the tips I gave you and create your best 2v2 deck, you will rock!
