Okay, let me walk you through my trip to see WWE in Tupelo back in 2023. It was quite the experience, and I figured I’d share how it all went down from my end.

Getting the Ball Rolling
So, I first heard about WWE coming to Tupelo, Mississippi, I think through some online chatter or maybe a buddy mentioned it. You know how these things pop up. My first thought was, “Huh, Tupelo? That’s not too far off.” I’ve always enjoyed watching WWE on TV, off and on over the years, but seeing it live is a whole different beast.
Decided pretty quick I wanted to go. The next step was snagging tickets. Went online, found the event listing. The process wasn’t too terrible, honestly. Clicked around, looked at the seating chart – always gotta try and get a decent view without breaking the bank, right? Found some seats that looked alright, punched in my details, and boom, tickets secured. Got that confirmation email, felt good knowing it was locked in.
The Day of the Show
Fast forward to the actual day. Had a bit of a drive to get over to Tupelo. Nothing crazy, just put on some music and headed out. Found the arena, the Cadence Bank Arena, without much trouble. Parking was about what you’d expect for an event like this – paid a bit, found a spot, and started walking towards the building.
You could already feel the buzz starting. Lots of people wearing their favorite wrestler shirts, kids excited, folks just generally pumped up. It definitely gets you in the mood. Got inside, navigated through the crowd. It’s always a bit of a maze finding your section and seat, but we managed.
Grabbed a quick snack and a drink before things kicked off. Prices are always high at these things, but hey, it’s part of the experience, I guess. Settled into my seat, watched the arena fill up. The energy just kept building.
Showtime!
Then the lights went down, the music hit, and the show started. Man, it’s loud in there! Way louder than on TV. The pyro, the entrance music, the crowd roaring – it hits you right in the chest.
The matches themselves were great. Saw a good mix of wrestlers, some familiar faces, some newer ones. They really work hard out there, lots of action, slams, the whole deal. It’s just different seeing the speed and the impact live. The crowd was super into it, cheering the good guys, booing the bad guys. You get caught up in it easily.
- The entrances were probably one of my favorite parts. Big spectacle.
- The action in the ring felt really intense up close.
- Crowd reactions were electric all night.
Honestly, I couldn’t tell you every single match result now, but the overall feeling was just a lot of fun. It’s pure entertainment, and they delivered. You see the athleticism, but also the showmanship. They know how to work a crowd.

Heading Home
After the main event finished up, the lights came on, and it was time to head out. Filing out with everyone else, still buzzing a bit from the show. Made the trek back to the car, got out of the parking lot – which always takes a bit – and started the drive home.
Was definitely tired by the time I got back, but it was worth it. Just a solid night of entertainment. If you get the chance to see WWE live, especially if it comes close to your town like it did with Tupelo for me, I’d say go for it. It’s a good time, plain and simple.
