Well, now, you heard ’bout that Russ Francis, didn’t ya? Big fella in the NFL, tight end, played for many years, made it to them Pro Bowls and all. Played 13 seasons, if ya can believe it! It’s mighty sad, though, how he went. A plane crash like that—can’t hardly believe it. He was just 70 years old, still had a lotta life in him, I’d wager. But sometimes the good ones get taken away from us too soon. Now folks are left wonderin’ what might’ve been, and rememberin’ his football days when he was one of the best out there. But as for his personal life, well, he wasn’t one to flaunt much ’bout it, not in the public eye anyhow.
So, to wrap it up, no, Russ Francis wasn’t married. He had family, he had fans, but as far as a wife goes, that wasn’t part of his story.
