Okay, folks, let’s dive into my little adventure with the Arishem Marvel Snap deck. I’m no pro, but I like to tinker and see what works.

So, I stumbled upon this Arishem deck idea, and I was like, “Hmm, big Celestial, sounds powerful, let’s give it a shot!” I started by, you know, just throwing the cards together. I had Arishem, obviously, and then I added some of my usual go-to cards like Sunspot. He will help a lot.
Building the Deck
I wanted a deck, that can give me high power at the end of the game.
My first few games? Total disaster. I got smashed. I mean, completely obliterated. I was losing cubes left and right. I realized I needed some serious ramp to get Arishem out early enough to matter.
I started messing with cards like Electro and Wave. The idea was to cheat out Arishem a turn or two early. Electro gives you extra energy each turn, but limits you to one card, and Wave makes all cards cost 4 next turn (including Arishem, hopefully!).
Testing and Tweaking
- Game 1-3: Lost. Badly. Forgot I needed a way to actually play Arishem.
- Game 4-7: Added Electro and Wave. Still losing, but feeling a bit closer. I kept getting my combo pieces too late.
- Game 8-12: I put in Jubilee. She’s great for pulling big cards out of your deck. This helped a ton. Started winning a few games!
- Game 13-15: Experimented that I can add Infinaut.
The Jubilee change was a game-changer. Suddenly, I had a decent chance of getting Arishem out on turn 4 or 5. Even if I didn’t get him, Jubilee could pull out something else beefy, like The Infinaut, I added later.
I also realized I needed some control. I threw in Sera to manage the cost of cards, which seemed to help a bit. I’m still not 100% sold on it, but it’s better than nothing. I had a couple of games where I could play it out. And then, I can play my other cards at a low cost. That’s really useful for winning.
The (Current) Results
Honestly, it’s still a work in progress. I’m winning some games, but it’s not consistent. It’s definitely a fun deck when it works, though. Seeing your opponent’s face when you drop a surprise Arishem is pretty satisfying. You can literally see the panic.
But, yeah, I’m still tinkering. I’m thinking of maybe adding some other big hitters, or maybe some more disruption. It’s all about trial and error, right? Will continue trying, and share it with you!
