Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with some football stats lately, specifically looking at Tom Brady and Brett Favre. These two are like, legends, right? So, I got curious about how they stack up against each other.
First, I started digging into their career stats. I found this cool website where you can compare players head-to-head. It’s got everything – awards, championships, playoff stats, you name it. It was kinda like a football nerd’s paradise, I was diving into it. You can just search their names and it will give you all the related stats.
Then, I focused on some specific numbers. Like, did you know that Brett Favre has a career passer rating of 86.0? And get this, the guy threw for 71,838 yards. That’s just insane if you think about it.
After that, I started looking at Tom Brady’s numbers. This guy played in 335 games! In those games, he completed 7,753 out of 12,050 passes. I was surprised by this. And his total passing yards? 89. His career passer rating is 97.6 with 84,520 yards. Seriously, the dude is a machine.
What I Learned
- Comparing Legends: It’s crazy to see how two of the greatest quarterbacks ever compare in terms of stats. Both Brady and Favre have incredible numbers, but they’re different.
- Favre’s Yardage: Favre’s 71,838 passing yards is a testament to his longevity and strong arm. I have been imagining how he did that, it is really a huge amount.
- Brady’s Efficiency: Brady’s completion rate and passer rating show how efficient he was throughout his career. He is totally a master of this.
- Games Played: The fact that Brady played in so many games really highlights his durability and consistency. He is really an iron man.
It was a fun little project, comparing these two icons. This made me realize how much data is out there and how much you can learn from it. And also, how amazing are these two guys! They are really something. Stats are cool and all, but they also remind you of the incredible careers these guys had.
So yeah, that’s my little deep dive into Tom Brady and Brett Favre’s stats. It was a blast. I am a big fan of them, and now I am an even bigger fan.
