Okay, so I’ve been seeing a lot of talk online about CM Punk again, especially with all the AEW drama lately. It got me thinking, when did he actually leave WWE? I knew it was a big deal, but I couldn’t remember the exact date. So, I decided to do some digging and, man, it was a trip down memory lane!

I confirmed CM punk offically leaved on January 27, 2014,and his contract with WWE officially expired in July 2014, that is, he did not appear in the company again.
It’s wild to think it’s been that long! It felt like a huge deal at the time, and honestly, it still kind of is. The way he left, the reasons behind it…it all added to the legend of CM Punk.
