Okay, so last week I got this wild idea to dive into the whole Tiger Woods Las Vegas poker scene. I mean, the guy’s a legend on the golf course, but poker? I had to see what that was all about.
I started digging around, you know, just browsing the web to see what I could find. Turns out, Tiger’s got this thing called the TGR Foundation, and they do these charity poker nights in Vegas. Classy, right? And guess who’s often there? Poker big shot Phil Hellmuth. This was getting interesting.
So, I watched this video that Hellmuth posted. It had him and Tiger, and they were just hanging out, talking poker, and doing their thing for the foundation. Tiger’s got a pretty decent poker face, I gotta say. Not bad for a golfer. After watching this, I was hooked. I wanted to see this poker night live for myself so much.
Then I saw this contest, and I was like, “No way!” They’re giving away a VIP trip for two to something called Tiger Jam at Shadow Creek in Vegas. I thought this is my chance! So, I entered the contest. Fingers crossed, right?
- Spent hours online, reading about Tiger’s poker events.
- Watched that clip with Tiger and Phil Hellmuth like a dozen times.
- Tried to figure out Tiger’s poker strategy. I guess I might have a little detective in me.
- Entered that contest for the VIP trip. I really hope I win! I need to see this poker night live!
- Dreamed about chilling in Vegas, maybe even seeing Tiger play poker in person.

Honestly, it was a wild ride. From just being curious to now really wanting to be there, it’s been quite the journey. I even started practicing my own poker face in the mirror. My wife thinks I’m nuts, but hey, you gotta be prepared, right?
