Alright, so I was messing around with this mobile game called Arknights the other day. It’s one of those games where you gotta collect a bunch of characters and then use them to fight battles. Sounds simple enough, right? But man, there are so many characters in this game!
I started by just trying out different characters that I got. I mean, they give you a bunch for free at the start, so I figured, why not? Some were pretty cool, some were kinda meh. But then I realized I was hitting a wall. The levels were getting tougher, and my random team just wasn’t cutting it anymore.
So, I did what any normal person would do – I went online to see what other people were saying. Turns out, there’s this whole thing called a “tier list” for Arknights. People basically rank all the characters based on how good they are. You’ve got your top-tier, amazing characters, and then all the way down to the ones that are, well, not so great.
Checking Out the Tier Lists
At first, I was kinda overwhelmed. There are, like, a hundred different characters in this game, spread across eight different classes! It’s a lot to take in. I started looking at different tier lists, and they mostly agreed on the top characters, but there were some differences here and there. But they all agreed on some general stuff, like which classes were better for certain situations.
- Vanguards: These guys are good at earning deployment points in early stages.
- Guards: The main damage dealers, best for taking down enemies.
- Defenders: Your main tanks, they have high HP and defense.
- Snipers: The best at dealing with aerial enemies from afar.
- Casters: Dealing with armored enemies using magic damage.
- Medics: Healers, for keeping your team alive.
- Supporters: Debuffing the enemies and buffing your team.
- Specialists: Can shift enemies and do unique things.
Experimenting and Building My Team
Armed with this newfound knowledge, I went back to the game. I started focusing on leveling up the characters that were considered top-tier. And let me tell you, it made a huge difference! Suddenly, I was breezing through levels that I was stuck on before. It was like night and day. The game became way more fun when I had a strong team.
I spent hours playing, experimenting with different team compositions. I’d swap out characters, try new strategies, and see what worked best. It was actually kind of addictive, in a good way. I felt like I was actually learning something, you know? Not just randomly throwing characters together anymore.
Sharing My Experience
So, that’s my story with Arknights and tier lists. I went from being a total noob to actually feeling like I know what I’m doing. It’s pretty cool how much of a difference it makes when you actually take the time to learn about the game and its mechanics. Figured I’d share my experience in case anyone else is struggling with the game. It really helped me enjoy Arknights a lot more, and hopefully, it can help you too!
I’m still playing and trying out new characters, but now I have a much better understanding of what to look for. It’s become a fun little hobby, trying to build the best team possible. There’s a lot of strategies involved. And the community is pretty active, so there’s always something new to learn. It’s been a wild ride, but a fun one!
