Okay, so I got curious about this baseball guy, Ted Higashioka. At first, I thought he might be a player, but nah, it turns out he’s actually the dad of a pro baseball player named Kyle Higashioka. You know, I had to dig into who this guy is.

First thing I did was try to find out what this Ted fella does. Turns out he’s a third-generation Japanese American. Also, he and his wife, Diane, raised their son, Kyle, in California.
So, I kept digging. Apparently, this Kyle guy became a pretty big deal in Major League Baseball.
- Born on April 20, 1990.
- Plays for the Nationals now, I think.
- He can hit, like, really well. There was this one game where he smashed a two-run homer and then later a grand slam! That’s some serious power, right?
The grand slam was a real whopper, too. It went all the way up to the third level into some fancy suite. Sounds like Kyle’s got quite the swing! Anyway, it looks like Ted and Diane did a pretty good job raising their son. He went from some kid in California to a Major League Baseball player hitting bombs.
I guess that’s the gist of what I found out about Ted and his son Kyle. Not a bad story, right?
