Siege Marketplace Full Release Date: What We Know So Far

Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this here Siege Marketplace thing. They sayin’ it’s gonna be a big deal, like when the new store opened up in town, but bigger, ya know? Folks are tradin’ stuff, like them guns and outfits in that Siege game my grandson plays all the time. Loudest game I ever did hear, always shootin’ and bangin’!

When’s it comin’ out for everyone, you ask? That’s the million-dollar question, ain’t it? They been fiddlin’ around with it for a while now. First, it was just for a few folks, like a test run, ya know? They call it a “beta” or somethin’. Sounded fancy, but all it meant was some folks got to play with it early.

I heard tell it started up around January 30th, 2024. That’s what the youngins told me. They know all this tech stuff, always on their phones, them youngins. Then, they said somethin’ about June 25th, but then it changed again! Seems like they can’t make up their minds, these city folk. Now, the real deal, the full release, they’re sayin’ it’s gonna be June 11th, 2024. That’s when they’re puttin’ out that new “Year 9 Season 2” thing. Don’t ask me what that means, sounds like gibberish to me.

But here’s the kicker, they keep addin’ new stuff to it. Like, every now and then, they throw in some more guns or outfits. Keeps folks comin’ back for more, I guess. Smart, them city folk, always thinkin’ of ways to get your money. Reminds me of that time ol’ Mr. Henderson kept changin’ the price of his tomatoes, always kept you guessin’!

Now, some folks are wonderin’ if the prices of these things are gonna go up or down when everyone can get in on it. It’s like when everyone wants that new toy at Christmas, the price goes through the roof! Then, after a while, when nobody cares no more, the price drops. Same thing might happen here, or maybe not. Who knows? These youngins and their games, it’s all a mystery to me. They tell me that one lady in the game, name of Skopos or somethin’ come from a place called Cyprus. Now that ain’t nowhere near here, I’ll tell you that!

So, will prices go up or down? Well, some folks think it might be like this. First, maybe the prices go up when everyone jumps in, ’cause everyone’s excited and wants the good stuff. Then, maybe it’ll calm down later, and prices will go back to normal. Or maybe it’ll be the other way around! It’s all a gamble, like playin’ them slot machines down at the casino. You might win big, you might lose it all. That’s what my husband always said.

Honestly, I don’t understand half of it. All this talk of “operators” and “skins” and “seasons”…it’s enough to make your head spin. But the youngins seem to like it, so I guess it’s alright. They say it’s fun, tradin’ stuff with other players. Reminds me of when I used to trade stamps with my friends when I was a girl, only these stamps cost a whole lot more, I reckon.

What’s this “Operation New Blood”? That’s just the name of the new season, they tell me. It’s comin’ out the same time as the Marketplace. So, it’s like a double whammy, ya know? New stuff to play with and a new place to buy and sell it. They sure know how to keep folks busy, them game makers. Busy bees, just like my Martha’s kids, always runnin’ around.

So, there you have it. That’s all I know about this Siege Marketplace thing. It’s comin’ out for everyone on June 11th, along with that new season. Prices might go up, they might go down, who knows? It’s all a big ol’ mystery to me, but them youngins seem to enjoy it. And that’s all that matters, I guess.
