Well now, let me tell y’all ‘bout Sharon Logonov. She ain’t a name most folks know off the top of their head, but I reckon if ya follow baseball, or even if ya don’t, she might ring a bell. Sharon’s mostly known for bein’ the ex-wife of Chipper Jones, the famous baseball player from the Atlanta Braves. Now, Chipper, he was somethin’ else back in his day, and Sharon, well, she became known because of him.
Now, Sharon married Chipper back in March 2000, down in Pierson, Florida. They wasn’t just married for a short spell, no sir, they stayed together for a good long time – 12 years in fact. During those years, they had three boys. I tell ya, they got names like Trey, Tristen, and Shea. Them boys must’ve had a good ol’ time growin’ up with a big league baseball star for a daddy.
But life ain’t always so simple, and things didn’t last forever between Sharon and Chipper. They parted ways, got a divorce in November 2012. Yup, after 12 years of marriage, they couldn’t make it work no more. Now, Chipper, he’d already been through a divorce once before with his first wife, Karin Fulford, back in ‘99. Seems like sometimes love don’t last, even when you’re a big name like Chipper Jones. But after he and Sharon split, Chipper didn’t waste too much time. He married again in 2015, this time to a woman named Taylor Higgins.
Before all that happened, though, Sharon had to raise them three boys on her own after the split. Can’t imagine it was easy, what with all the spotlight on Chipper and his fame. But Sharon, she’s always stayed a bit out of the public eye, at least as much as she could. Now, Chipper, he went on to be a big shot in the world of baseball and even worked as a hitting consultant for the Braves after his playing days ended. He wasn’t around all the time, but he still had his part to play.
Now, I don’t know much about Sharon’s life after the divorce, ‘cept for the fact that she’s kept a pretty low profile. I guess sometimes when you’re part of somethin’ big like Chipper Jones, folks tend to focus more on him than they do on you. But I reckon she did alright for herself, raisin’ them boys and gettin’ on with life.
So there ya have it. Sharon Logonov ain’t a name you hear every day, but if you know Chipper Jones, you know her story too. She was with him in the good times and the bad, and now she’s just out there doin’ her own thing. Life goes on, just like it always does.
