Okay, so, today I started the new split, Split 2 of Season 14. This one kicked off on May 15, 2024. It’s part of this whole new setup where they got three splits in a season. A bit different, but let’s see how it goes.
First thing I did was check out the patch notes for 14.10. That’s the update that came with the start of this split. There is always a lot of changes with these updates, so I made some time to look through those. Then I got into some games to see how everything felt.
I played a few ranked matches to get a feel for the new changes. It seems like Riot Games did their thing again, making adjustments to runes and items. I spent some time messing around with different setups, seeing what worked and what didn’t. It felt a little weird at first, especially with my rank getting reset and all, but I got the hang of it after a while.
- Played a bunch of games.
- Tried out different rune combinations.
- Experimented with new item builds.
Getting Back into the Groove
After a few matches, I started to get back into my usual rhythm. I focused on playing my main champions and adapting to the changes. It took a bit of adjusting, but I managed to climb back up a few ranks. It wasn’t too bad, considering everyone else was also dealing with the reset.
I noticed some players were struggling with the new changes more than others. Some folks were trying out completely new strategies, while others stuck to what they knew. I found that a mix of both worked best for me. Adapting to the changes while staying true to my playstyle seemed to be the way to go.
End of the Day Reflections
By the end of the day, I felt pretty good about how things went. I won some, I lost some, but overall, I felt like I was making progress. I’m planning to keep playing regularly throughout this split to see how high I can climb. This split ends on September 24, 2024, so I got plenty of time to make my way up.
I also made sure to check out some community forums and discussions. It’s always interesting to see what other players think about the changes and how they’re adapting. There were a lot of mixed opinions, but it’s all part of the fun of a new split. Plus, with Split 3 starting right after this one on September 25, 2024, there’s a lot to look forward to.
