Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this “Radio Silence” thing in Gray Zone Crimson. It’s a task from Handshake, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a wild ride.
First off, I started by trying to figure out what the heck this task was even about. Apparently, there’s this house somewhere up north, and these bad guys have some fancy communication gear there. My job? Shut it down. Simple enough, right? Wrong.
I spent a good chunk of time just trying to find the place. The map in this game isn’t exactly user-friendly, you know? I ended up asking around, checking some online guides, and finally, I got a general idea of where I was supposed to go.
Once I got to the area, it was a whole other mess. Enemies everywhere. I had to be sneaky, taking them out one by one. I used my silenced rifle for most of it, trying to keep things quiet. That’s the whole point of “Radio Silence”, after all, haha.
- Sneaking around: This was the hardest part, I used lots of cover to move around.
- Taking out enemies: I tried to go for headshots to make sure they didn’t call for backup.
- Finding the house: The house was not easy to spot! It looked just like all the other houses in the area. It took some searching to find it.
After what felt like forever, I finally found the house. It looked pretty normal from the outside, but I knew the gear had to be inside. I breached the door, heart pounding, and started searching. And there it was, in what looked like a makeshift office, a bunch of radios and some other techy stuff I didn’t recognize.
My objective was to neutralize the equipment. So, I did what any sensible person would do: I started smashing. I used the butt of my rifle, a crowbar I found, anything I could get my hands on. It felt good, honestly, taking out all that frustration on those machines.
With the equipment good and destroyed, I exited the house. I still had to get out of the area alive, which was another challenge. But, I managed to do it, dodging enemy patrols and making my way back to base.
The Rewards
Got back to Handshake, and he seemed pretty pleased. I got a nice chunk of experience and some reputation, which is always good. Plus, he threw in some cash and a new recon chest rig. Not bad for a day’s work, I guess.
So yeah, that’s my story about the “Radio Silence” task in Gray Zone Crimson. It was tough, frustrating at times, but also pretty satisfying in the end. If you’re gonna try it, be prepared for a challenge, and remember: keep it quiet.
