Alright, so you young folks are playin’ this Ark game, right? And you don’t wanna lose all yer stuff, all that hard work you done put in. Well, listen up, ’cause I’m gonna tell ya how to save your game, and it ain’t as hard as milkin’ a cow, I tell ya.
This here “save world command” thing, it’s like magic, but for the game. It makes sure all yer buildin’s and yer dinos and all that, it stays put. So, if the game crashes or somethin’, you don’t gotta start all over again, cryin’ like a baby who lost his bottle.
Now, on them computer thingies, the PCs, you gotta get into the game, right? Then, you gotta find this thing called the “console.” It’s like a secret door, but for typin’ stuff. You hit that “TAB” button, and poof! There it is. Then you type in somethin’ like this: admincheat saveworld. And then you smack that “Enter” button, like you’re killin’ a fly. That’s it! The game’s saved, safe and sound.
If you’re playin’ on that Xbox contraption, it’s a little different, but not much. You get in the game, and then you gotta do some fancy button pushin’ to open that console thingy. I heard it’s somethin’ like LB RB X Y all at once. Sounds like a chicken dance to me, but hey, whatever works. Then you type in that same magic words: admincheat saveworld, and hit somethin’ to finish it. Boom! Game saved.
Now, some folks say you can also make the game save when you jump off a dino. Like, the dino gets tired of carryin’ ya, and when you hop off, the game goes “Oh, let’s save!” But I say, don’t trust that. Use the magic words, just to be sure. Better safe than sorry, like my grandma always said, right before she chased a raccoon out of the henhouse with a broom.
- PC: Get in the game, hit TAB, type admincheat saveworld, smack Enter.
- Xbox: Get in the game, do that chicken dance button thingy, type admincheat saveworld, and finish it.
And listen here, don’t go tryin’ to save while you’re flyin’ on one of them bird thingies. You’ll fall right outta the sky, and that ain’t good for nobody. Wait till yer feet are on the ground, then save. Common sense, ain’t it?
Some other folks, they talk about doin’ this on a server, makin’ the whole server save. But that’s for them fancy folks who run them servers. You just worry about your own game, your own little world. Unless you’re runnin’ a server, then you gotta learn that fancy stuff too. But that’s a whole ‘nother story.
So, there ya have it. The “save world command.” It ain’t rocket science, it’s easier than makin’ biscuits, I tell ya. Just remember them magic words, and you’ll be fine. Now go on and play yer game, and don’t come cryin’ to me if you lose all yer stuff ’cause you didn’t listen.
And one more thing, this “cheat” word they use, don’t worry about it. It ain’t like you’re cheatin’ cheatin’. It’s just a way to tell the game to do what you want. Like tellin’ a dog to sit, only it’s a computer game. You get it? Good. Now go on, git!
This whole “save world” thing, it’s like puttin’ yer money in the bank. You don’t wanna keep all yer hard-earned cash under the mattress, do ya? Same goes for this game. Save it regular, and you won’t lose nothin’. Simple as that.
So remember, admincheat saveworld. Say it with me now, admincheat saveworld. Good. Now go on and have fun, and don’t forget to save!
