Okay, so today I decided to dig into the stats of Dustin Poirier vs. Benoit Saint Denis. You know, just to see what all the fuss was about before their fight.

Getting Started
First, I fired up my browser. I gotta say, finding reliable stats can be a bit of a pain. There are so many sites out there, and some of them look, well, kinda sketchy.
Finding the Data
I bounced around a few different websites. Eventually, I landed on a couple that seemed pretty legit and had the info I was looking for. Things like takedown averages, significant strike percentages, that sort of stuff.
I am looking for:
- Significant Strikes Landed per Minute (SLpM)
- Significant Striking Accuracy
- Significant Strikes Absorbed per Minute (SApM)
- Significant Strike Defence (the % of opponents strikes that did not land)
- Average Takedowns Landed per 15 minutes
- Takedown Accuracy
- Takedown Defense (the % of opponents takedown attempts that did not land)
Jotting It Down
As I found the numbers, I started jotting them down. Nothing fancy, just scribbling on a piece of paper, to be honest. I could’ve used a spreadsheet or something, but sometimes the old-fashioned way is just easier, you know?
Comparing and Contrasting
Once I had the stats for both fighters, I started comparing them side-by-side. It’s pretty interesting to see where each guy excels and where they might have some weaknesses. Like, who’s landing more strikes? Who’s better at avoiding them? Who’s got the better takedown game?
Forming an Opinion
After looking at all the numbers, I started forming my own opinion about the fight. It’s not just about who has the better stats on paper, of course. There’s always that “anything can happen” factor in a fight. But the stats definitely give you a better idea of what to expect.
so,I think this is all my record about Dustin Poirier vs. Benoit Saint Denis’ stats.
