Okay, so I saw this trend going around about Rhea Ripley and her “no makeup” look, and I was like, “I gotta try this!” I’m a huge fan of hers – she’s just so badass and confident. So, I decided to document my own attempt at recreating her natural vibe, minus all the stage makeup.
Getting Started
First, I washed my face. I mean, really washed it. Gotta get all the gunk and previous makeup off. I used my usual cleanser, nothing fancy, just the one that doesn’t make my skin freak out. I patted it dry with a clean towel.
The “No Makeup” Look
- I skipped the foundation completely. That was weird, I feel naked without it.
- I used a tiny bit of concealer under my eyes. Just enough to, you know, not look like I haven’t slept in days.
- I dabbed a little bit of cream blush on my cheeks. I went for a peachy color, something that looks like a natural flush.
- I brushed my eyebrows. I’m not going use gel.
- Then, the biggest thing – no eyeliner! I usually rock a pretty strong wing, so this felt super strange. Just a bit of mascara on my top lashes.
- I moisturized my lip.
The Results
Honestly, it was…different. I felt like I looked younger, maybe? It’s definitely not the same powerful, intimidating look that Rhea has, even without makeup. She just has that presence, you know?
It was a fun experiment, though! It made me appreciate how much makeup can change a person’s look. Would I do it again? Maybe, if I’m just chilling at home. But for a night out? I’m definitely sticking with my eyeliner.
