So, I’ve been playing ACNH for a while now, and I really wanted to give my island this cool, medieval vibe. I mean, who doesn’t want their own castle, right? But I ran into a little problem – I couldn’t find the castle items anywhere! I was checking Nook Shopping every single day for months. It was a grind, honestly.
Then, I started thinking, “There’s gotta be another way.” I went online, started digging through forums and I found out some interesting stuff. Some people were talking about this thing called “catalog trading events” where you can get new items in your catalog. I had no idea this was a thing!
I found a community online that was hosting one of these events, specifically for castle items. There were three types of them: Castle Wall, Castle Gate, and Castle Tower. I was so excited!
- Castle Wall: I found out these were going for like, 9,000 Bells at Nook’s Cranny, if you could even find them.
- Castle Gate: These were a bit pricier, around 160,000 Bells at Nook Shopping or 144,000 Poki at the Paradise Planning office. I guess you gotta pay extra for that grand entrance, haha.
- Castle Tower: This was the most expensive one, 250,000 Bells or 225,000 Poki. I guess it’s the tallest part, so it makes sense.
I hopped into the event, and it was amazing! I found all the items in all 8 colors. I spent a bunch of Bells, but it was totally worth it. I started with the Castle Gate, because it’s awesome that you can actually walk under it. Then I grabbed a bunch of walls and towers. It really helped me out to finally obtain these items after all this time.
After getting all the pieces, I started building. It took a while to arrange everything just right. But let me tell you, seeing my island transform into this awesome medieval fortress was so satisfying. I even added some extra touches, like pathways and some matching furniture, to really complete the look.
Now, my island’s got this epic castle, and it’s everything I dreamed of. It was a bit of a journey to get here, but totally worth it. If you’re struggling to find these items, I definitely recommend checking out those catalog events. They’re a lifesaver!
