Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post mimicking that style and focusing on the “mouthguard for mma” topic:

Alright, so I’ve been getting my butt kicked in MMA sparring – literally. My teeth were taking a beating, and I knew I needed to get serious about protection before I ended up with a jack-o’-lantern smile. Figured it was time to finally invest in a decent mouthguard.
The Hunt Begins
First, I hit up some online stores. Man, there are a TON of options. I felt instantly overwhelmed. Boil-and-bite, custom-fit, cheap ones, expensive ones… I had no clue where to even start.
Boil-and-Bite?
I decided to try a cheap boil-and-bite one first, just to see if I could even tolerate having a chunk of plastic in my mouth. Went to a local shop, grabbed a cheap one. Followed the instructions – boiled some water, dunked it in, chomped down. It was… awkward. Felt bulky, and I was gagging a bit. Plus, it didn’t seem to fit super snugly. Like, I could easily dislodge it with my tongue, which is NOT what you want when you’re taking a punch.
My Experience
I sparred with the boil-and-bite, It kept me from grinding, but was uncomfortable to wear.
The Conclusion
So, the cheap boil-and-bite was a no-go. Better than nothing, I guess, but definitely not ideal. Now I am researching. There are so many options that are out there. My teammate said the custom-fit were comfortable, but too costly. So I should consider the mid-range mouthguard that are not too expensive and have good fit.
It needs some research!
