Okay, so I’ve been hooked on Monopoly Go lately, and let me tell you, the “Skyscraper Blast Off” event? It’s a doozy. I wanted to share how I tackled it because, honestly, it took me a few tries to figure out the best strategy.

First, I jumped into the game, obviously. I made sure I had a decent amount of dice rolls saved up. You really don’t want to start one of these events with, like, ten dice. It’s a recipe for disaster. I learned that the hard way, believe me.
My “Skyscraper Blast Off” Journey
I started rolling, focusing on landing on the Chance, Community Chest, and Railroad tiles. Those were the key, at least for me. My reasoning? Those tiles are most likely to give you those event-specific tokens you need. I have also found that landing on a corner spot is pretty good too.
- Chance: These were pretty random, sometimes I’d get tokens, sometimes not. It was a gamble, fitting for Monopoly, I guess.
- Community Chest: These seemed a little more consistent for tokens, in my experience.
- Railroad: Shutdowns and Bank Heists, those were my bread and butter. Shutdowns, especially, if I targeted someone with a lower net worth, I could usually get a decent amount of tokens. Bank Heists, well, those are always a good time.
I kept at it, rolling and rolling, trying to be strategic about when I increased my dice multiplier. I only bumped it up when I was, like, 6-8 spaces away from a Railroad or one of the Chest tiles. No point in wasting a high multiplier on a random property, right?
It was a grind, no lie. There were times I felt like I was getting nowhere, just burning through dice. But I stuck with it, and I finally started seeing some progress. The key is really just persistence and being smart about your dice rolls. Don’t go crazy with the multipliers unless you’re pretty sure you’re going to land on something good.
I finally managed to complete the event! It was a good feeling to finally collect enough tokens and get those rewards. It took time, and a little bit of luck, but I got it done.
