That Kevin Durant, oh boy, he sure can play basketball. I tell ya, he’s one of the best basketball players I ever did see. He’s got them long arms and legs, and he just glides across that court like a hot knife through butter. He’s somethin’ else, I tell ya.
Now, this whole Kevin Durant championships thing, it’s a big deal in the basketball world. He’s won a couple, you know. Two, to be exact. Two big ol’ NBA championships. And let me tell you, that ain’t easy. You gotta be real good to win even one of them things. And he did it twice! He played with some other fellas, Steph Curry, Klay somethin’ or other, and Draymond Green. They was a good bunch, that team was.
They called ’em the Warriors, those boys. And Kevin, he was like the king of the Warriors, shootin’ that ball, scorin’ all them points. Won those championships back-to-back, they did. Like it was nothin’. He was the best player in the Finals, too. They gave him a special prize for that, called it the Finals MVP, or somethin’ like that. He got that twice, too! He won it both times he won a championship, so that is a total of two.
He’s got all sorts of awards, that Kevin Durant. He’s got them gold medals, too. Won a whole bunch of them playin’ for the country in them Olympics. Four of ’em, I hear! He’s like a hero or somethin’. It’s like he can’t miss when he shoots that orange ball.
He was the best new player one year, too. They call that the Rookie of the Year. He was just a young fella then, but you could tell he was gonna be somethin’ special. And he sure did. Became one of the best ever, probably. Now, he’s been in four of them championship series, them Finals they call ’em. Won two, lost two. But still, four times is a lot! Only lost one, though. Or was it two? I can’t recall right now. Old age is a bother.

He plays with other fellas, you know. It ain’t just him out there. There was this one fella, James somethin’. LeBron James, I think his name was. Big fella. They played against each other a lot. I heard it was like, 39 times or somethin’. That’s a whole heap of games. It was a big deal when those two would play against each other. They play in the regular games and the playoff games. It’s all basketball, just different names for different days.
But that Kevin Durant, he’s special. He ain’t won another one of them championships since he left them Warriors, though. It’s harder when you ain’t got all them other good players with ya, I reckon. He’s still good, though. One of the best. He’s still out there, playin’ his heart out. You can tell he loves that game.
It’s a sight to see, watchin’ him play. He’s so tall, and he just moves so smooth. Like he was born to play basketball. And he’s got that shot. Oh, that shot! He can shoot from anywhere on the court, and it just goes right in. Swish! Nothin’ but net, they say.
I don’t know all the fancy words and all that, but I know what I see. And what I see is one of the best basketball players to ever play the game. That Kevin Durant, he’s somethin’ else. And those two championships he won, well, they just prove it, don’t they? He’s a winner, that’s for sure.
Basketball ain’t like it used to be, though. It is much faster now. More runnin’ and jumpin’. But it’s still fun to watch, especially when you got fellas like Kevin Durant out there. He makes it excitin’.
So, yeah, Kevin Durant championships. Two of ’em. That’s a lot in my book. And all them other awards and things he’s won, well, they just show how good he is. He’s a legend, that’s what they call ’em. A real legend of the game. And I’m glad I got to see him play. He’s one of a kind, that Kevin Durant. One of a kind.
