Well now, let me tell y’all ’bout Jim Harbaugh’s family. Jim, he’s one of them football coaches, ya know, real famous one, and he’s got himself a mighty fine family. He’s had a few wives and a handful of youngins, and it’s a story worth tellin’, so let me get right into it.
First off, Jim’s daddy is Jack Harbaugh. Jack, now, he’s no stranger to football himself, bein’ a coach for a good while. You could say football runs in the family. Jim, he grew up with the game, watchin’ his daddy coach, and I reckon that’s where he got all his know-how from. Now Jack, he was around to help Jim in them early days, right when he was makin’ his mark in the football world.
Jim, he was first married to a lady named Miah Harbaugh. Together they had three youngins: Jay, James Jr., and Grace. I hear tell that Jay, he took a likin’ to football just like his old man, and James Jr. and Grace, well, they’re all grown now, doin’ their own things. But let me tell ya, Jim and Miah didn’t stay together forever, no sir. They split up, and Jim found him another lady.
That lady’s name is Sarah Feuerborn Harbaugh. Now, Sarah, she’s got her own story, too. She grew up near Kansas City, lost a couple of brothers to colon cancer, which is real sad. But she’s tough as nails, that Sarah. When she met Jim back in 2006, she was livin’ in Las Vegas and workin’ in real estate. Pretty far from football, I’d say, but it didn’t take long before Sarah and Jim hit it off.
Jim and Sarah, they got married, and they went on to have themselves four more children. They got two girls, Addison and Katherine, and two boys, Jack and John. Now, I reckon Jim’s approach with the younger ones is a little different than with his older kids. I don’t know all the details, but I hear tell he’s raisin’ them a bit quieter, maybe a little more thoughtful, like he’s learned a few things from raisin’ his older bunch.
So, that’s Jim’s family. He’s got a full house, with grown children from his first marriage and youngins from his second. It’s a real big mix of kids and stepkids, but y’know, family’s family. Jim’s out there workin’ hard on the football field, but it’s clear his family is just as important to him. No matter how big he gets, he’s always got his folks and his kids watchin’ his back, and I reckon that’s somethin’ special.
