Okay, so I wanted to get in on the College GameDay action for the Iowa game, and let me tell you, it was a whole thing. First, I woke up super early, like way before the sun even thought about rising. It was still dark and freezing!

Getting Ready
- I layered up – I’m talking thermals, sweatshirt, jacket, the works. Gotta stay warm, you know?
- Packed some snacks. Granola bars, a banana, the essentials to keep the energy up.
- Grabbed my sign. Took me forever to decide what to put on it, but I went with something funny. Hoping it gets on TV!
The Experience
I headed out and met up with some friends. The atmosphere was already crazy. So many people, everyone hyped up and ready for the game.
We found a spot – not the best, not the worst, but we could see the stage. I held up my sign whenever the cameras were around, did some cheering, and just generally soaked up the energy.
The Results
It was exhausting, I’m not gonna lie. Standing around for hours, in the cold, takes it out of you. But, it was totally worth it. I think my sign might have flashed on screen for like a half-second, but I’m counting it! Overall, it was just a super fun experience, being there with all the fans, feeling the excitement. I totally recommend it if you ever get the chance. I will try it again.
