Okay, so I’ve been messing around with Marvel Snap, and let me tell you, Beast is a card that I slept on for way too long. I finally decided to give him a real shot, and wow, was I wrong about him.

I started by just throwing him into a deck I already liked – a basic move deck. My thought was, “Hey, I can bounce some cheap cards back to my hand and replay them, right?” Pretty simple stuff.
First Few Games: Disaster!
- I kept clogging my hand.
- I’d Beast back cards I didn’t even want to replay.
- I was losing energy advantage like crazy.
I almost gave up. I was like, “This card is trash! Everyone online saying he’s good is nuts!” But then I figured, maybe I’m just playing him wrong. Maybe he doesn’t fit the “bounce anything cheap” strategy. The videos that I watch all said to try him with cards that have “On Reveal” abilities, which means some effects are triggered after the card is revealed, I had the cards, so I thought let’s do it, let’s try it!
Experiment Time!
I went back to the drawing board, I mean, the deck builder. I started thinking about cards with strong “On Reveal” effects that I could abuse. You know, like:
- Angela: Gets stronger every time you play a card at her location.
- Bishop: Gets +1 power for every card you play after him.
- Strong Guy if I empty my hand.
So I built a deck around these guys, with Beast as the key to re-triggering their abilities. Also some other low-cost cards with good on reveal effects.
The Breakthrough!
The first game with the new deck? Boom! I played Angela, then Beast her back. Played her again. Then, next turn, Beast her back again! She ended up being a HUGE power card, and I totally dominated that location.
I started seeing the potential. Bishop became a monster, gaining power with every cheap card I played and replayed. I could fill locations, bounce cards back, fill them again. It was actually insane.
I realized to use Beast successfully is all about timing and planning. He is the core card to trigger a serial of powerful card combos, so do not use him early.

I keep practicing the Beast and finally figured out how to use him correctly, I won a lot of games with high scores, and get me to a higher rank. Awesome!
