Okay, so I’ve been messing around with Genshin Impact lately, and let me tell you, there’s always something new to discover in that game. Recently, I stumbled upon this thing called the “Slow Homecoming” achievement, and I thought I’d share my little adventure here.
First off, I had to unlock this quest called “Latecoming Homecoming.” Sounds straightforward, right? Well, not quite. Before I could even get to that, I had to finish another quest chain called the “Canticles of Harmony.” That took a while, but it was pretty cool. I basically had to free some folks in this place called Petrichor from some kind of dream state. It felt good to help them out.
After I wrapped up the “Canticles of Harmony,” I took a break. I mean, I literally waited for a day in real life because that’s how the game works. Then, I went back to Petrichor. I was just exploring, and I thought, “Why not check out what’s changed?”
Then, I remembered something about a Waverider Waypoint near the Opera Epiclese. I zipped over there and found this girl with a cat and a dog. Her name was Penny, and she seemed to need some help. I talked to her, and that kicked off another quest called “Free Verse.” So, I got sidetracked a bit, but hey, more adventures, right?
Anyway, back to “Latecoming Homecoming.” Once I got back on track, I found out I needed to help this guy named Giustino. The quest was all about helping him get back to his hometown. It felt like a nice, wholesome thing to do after all the chaos of the other quests.
-
Step one: Finish the “Canticles of Harmony” quest chain.
-
Step two: Wait for a daily reset in the game.
-
Step three: Go back to Petrichor.
-
Step four: Find and talk to Penny near the Opera Epiclese to start the “Free Verse” quest (optional detour, but I did it anyway).
-
Step five: Find Giustino and help him get back home to complete the “Latecoming Homecoming” quest.
It wasn’t too hard, to be honest, but it was a nice little journey. Plus, I got the “Slow Homecoming” achievement out of it, which is always satisfying. You know, it’s those little things in Genshin Impact that make it so addictive. You think you’re done, and then there’s another quest, another achievement, another story to uncover.
So yeah, that’s my story about unlocking the “Slow Homecoming” achievement. If you’re playing Genshin Impact and looking for something to do, maybe give this quest a try. It’s a nice change of pace from all the fighting and exploring.
Honestly, I just like helping people in the game.
This game is so fun.
