Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with this “Chained Together” thing I saw people talking about. It’s basically a game where you’re chained to your friends, and you gotta climb up this crazy tower together. Sounds simple, right? Wrong.
First off, I rounded up a couple of buddies who were also curious. We hopped into the game, all excited, thinking we’d just breeze through it. The first few jumps were a joke. We were laughing, making fun of each other’s missed steps. “How hard could this be?” we thought.
Then, we hit the moving platforms. Oh boy. That’s where things got real. These platforms were all over the place, and one wrong move meant we all went tumbling down. We tried to time our jumps, you know, be all strategic and stuff. “One, two, three, JUMP!” But someone always messed up. Either they jumped too early, too late, or just straight-up in the wrong direction.
We spent hours on this, I swear. Trying different tactics, yelling at each other, the whole nine yards. At one point, we were trying to coordinate our jumps, you know, like we are pros. We did a bunch of tests by the way. We even made up some hand signals to communicate better, but it’s all in vain. It was a mess. Every time we thought we had it figured out, someone would slip, and down we’d go, back to square one.
We got so frustrated that we tried to find ways to save our progress. Turns out, this game doesn’t do manual saves. That’s right. Every fall, every restart is a fresh start. Can you believe it? It’s like the developers wanted to test our patience or something. What a design, seriously. I mean, it’s fun but a bit too much, isn’t it?
Here’s a rundown of our “strategy” phases:
- The “Let’s Just Wing It” Phase: Total chaos. No plan, just jumping and hoping for the best. This did not work. At all.
- The “Count to Three” Phase: We tried to synchronize our jumps by counting. This worked for like, two platforms. Then someone would always jump on two or four, messing everything up.
- The “Hand Signal” Phase: We actually made up hand signals. It was ridiculous. We were basically waving our hands around like lunatics. It didn’t help.
- The “Acceptance” Phase: We realized we weren’t going to master this thing anytime soon. We just started laughing every time we fell, which, to be honest, was a lot.
So, after hours of this madness, did we make it to the top? Nope. Not even close. But, did we have a blast? Absolutely. We were screaming, laughing, and just having a good old time being terrible at this game together.
Honestly, this “Chained Together” game is something else. It’s frustrating, yeah, but it’s also hilarious. It really tests your teamwork and communication skills, or in our case, the lack thereof. If you’re looking for a game to play with friends where you can all suffer and laugh together, this is it. Just don’t expect to get very far very fast.
By the way, I think I will play this game with my friends again this weekend. Or maybe not, it was an experience. We will see.
