So, the other day I was scrolling through my social media feeds, and I came across a name that sounded familiar but I couldn’t quite place – Kirsten Watson. I did a little digging and realized she’s a sports reporter, often seen on the sidelines of basketball games. Now, I’m not a huge sports person, but I do enjoy watching a good game now and then, and I started wondering just how tall she is.
I mean, it’s a random thought, I know, but these things pop into my head sometimes. You see these reporters standing next to these giant athletes, and it makes you think about the perspective. So I decided to find out more about her height.
My Little Investigation
First, I typed “Kirsten Watson” into the search bar. Of course, tons of pages came up. I scrolled through a few of them, mostly her social media profiles, and some interviews she’s done. Pretty impressive lady, by the way! She really knows her stuff when it comes to sports.
Anyway, I looked around those pages but couldn’t find her height mentioned anywhere. Okay, no problem, I thought, let’s try a different approach.
Next, I searched for images of her. I figured if I could find some pictures of her standing next to people whose heights I know, I could probably make a good guess. I found a bunch of her interviewing basketball players. Perfect!
- I started comparing her to some of the players. I looked up a few of their heights, and wow, they are super tall.
- After looking at a whole bunch of pictures, I started to get a pretty good idea of her height range.
So, based on my super scientific method of comparing pictures and estimating, I’d say Kirsten Watson is somewhere around 5’8″ or 5’9″. Not too bad! She holds her own next to those athletes. It was a fun little exercise, and now, the next time I see her on TV, I’ll have a little more context. It’s funny the things you end up looking into sometimes, right?
