Alright, so I was super curious about how many acts are in Baldur’s Gate 3. I’d heard some buzz, but I wanted to see for myself. So, I fired up the game and started playing.

First, I dove into the game, creating my character and getting a feel for the world. This was all part of the first act. I spent hours exploring, doing quests, and fighting monsters. I noticed that the game kept track of my progress, and it clearly showed that I was in act one.
- Act one was all about the Nautiloid ship and the escape. I had to figure out how to get off that thing and then deal with the aftermath on the beach.
- Then I spent a bunch of time just exploring the initial areas. I met a bunch of companions, did a whole lot of side quests, and got into some pretty intense battles.
- I found myself spending lots of hours just playing and progressing, there is a lot to do.
Eventually, after a whole lot of playing, I noticed a shift in the story. New locations opened up, and the plot started to get more complicated. This felt like a natural transition, and when I checked the game, it confirmed I was in act two.
- Act two took me to some darker, more dangerous places. The story got a lot more intense here, and the enemies were tougher.
- I had to make some tough choices here that I think are going to impact the game later on. Also I feel like I need to replay to explore different paths in this act.
After many more hours, the story started to come to a head. I was facing some really powerful enemies and making some big decisions. This had to be the end, right? And sure enough, the game labeled this as act three.
- Act three is where everything comes together. All the choices I made earlier started to have consequences, and the main story really ramped up.
- The city of Baldur’s Gate is huge, I found myself easily getting lost a lot of times. There is a lot of side quests and fun little things to do in this act, I did not expect this at all.
- This is definitely the climax of the game. The battles were epic, and the story had me on the edge of my seat.
So, after all that, I can confirm that Baldur’s Gate 3 has three acts.
Each act is distinct and offers a different experience. Act one is about setting the scene and getting your bearings. Act two dives deeper into the plot and introduces some complex choices. And act three is the grand finale, where everything comes to a head. It was a wild ride, and I’m already thinking about my next playthrough!
