Yesterday, I was looking to watch WrestleMania, but I wasn’t sure how long it was gonna take, so I dove into figuring that out. First, I checked out the official stuff from WWE. They’ve been doing this WrestleMania thing over two nights now, which is kind of a big deal, I guess.
I started digging around to get a feel for it. Turns out, each night of WrestleMania goes for about four hours. So, you’re looking at roughly eight hours total if you wanna catch the whole thing. That’s way longer than any of their usual single-night events, so it’s definitely a commitment.
What’s the Deal with Streaming?
Then there’s the whole streaming part. For WrestleMania 40, I saw it’s gonna be exclusively on Peacock, NBC’s streaming service. When I looked up the WrestleMania 40 page, it listed the runtime as six hours, starting at 5:00 p.m. ET. Seems like they might have added some buffer time there, or maybe there’s extra content they’re throwing in.
Breaking Down the Numbers
- Each Night: About 4 hours.
- Total (Both Nights): Around 8 hours.
- Streaming (Peacock): Listed at 6 hours per night.
So How Long Does It Really Last?
From what I gathered, each show is gonna run anywhere from 3 to 5 hours. With two nights, that’s a lot of wrestling. And they usually pack in a dozen or more matches, so it’s not just the main events taking up time.
In the end, I realized if I wanted to watch all of WrestleMania 40, I’d be looking at around 12 hours of content, give or take. It’s a lot, but hey, for a big event like this, it’s kinda expected. Just gotta plan your snacks and bathroom breaks accordingly, I guess!
Oh, and I also found out that the longest one was WrestleMania 35, clocking in at a whopping 5 hours and 20 minutes. And get this, it was the first one ever to have an all-women’s main event. Pretty cool, right?
So, yeah, that’s my little adventure into figuring out the length of WrestleMania. Hope it helps someone else out there planning their wrestling marathon!
