Oh boy, let me tell you about my recent deep dive into the world of Becky Lynch, the wrestling superstar. I’ve always been a casual wrestling fan, but lately, I’ve been more and more intrigued by this fiery Irish lass who calls herself “The Man.” So, I decided to really get into it and see what she’s all about.
First, I started watching some of her old matches, going way back to when she first started in WWE’s developmental territory, NXT. They called it that back in 2013. She was different back then, still finding her footing, but you could see the spark. I watched a bunch of those NXT matches, seeing how she evolved, how she changed up her moves, her style. It was cool to see that progression.
Then, I moved on to her time on the main roster. That’s when things really started to get interesting. She went from being just another wrestler to becoming a true force in the women’s division. I watched her win the SmackDown Women’s Championship – that blue belt. Man, she held that thing five times! It wasn’t easy though, she had some tough opponents. But she kept grinding, kept fighting, and kept winning.
And let’s not forget about the Raw Women’s Championship – that red one. She won that twice, as far as I can recall! There was this one crazy time where she actually held both the Raw and SmackDown titles at the same time. Can you believe that? No one else has ever done that. I was glued to the screen, watching those matches. The energy, the excitement, it was just awesome. It seems she disappeared from the screen in June 2024, which makes me a little sad.
But I didn’t just watch her matches, I also started reading up on her. I wanted to know more about Rebecca Quin, the person behind Becky Lynch. Did you know she wanted to be a wrestler since she was just 15? I found out she’s from Limerick, Ireland, and she’s made it big, like really big. I mean they say she’s worth over $6 million now. That’s a long way from those early days in NXT, huh?
Recently I heard that there was a battle royal on “Monday Night Raw.” This was to get a new Women’s World Champion. Fifteen women were in this match. But then there were only three left, including Becky. This is what I heard. I didn’t see it myself.
So yeah, that’s been my journey into the world of Becky Lynch. It’s been a wild ride, and I’m not done yet. I’m still watching, still learning, and still cheering for “The Man.” Who knows what she’ll do next, but I’m definitely along for the ride!
