Okay, so I wanted to make a “hero under heel” picture, and I knew what I wanted to make, but I had no idea about where to start. You know? It was a bit hard, and I was kinda lost at the beginning.

Brainstorming and Searching
First, I spent some time just thinking about what that phrase, “hero under heel,” actually looks like. I was imagining all kind of scenarios. Should the hero look defeated? Or maybe just annoyed? What kind of “heel” are we talking about? High heels? Combat boots? It’s kind of important, I thought.
I googled around for some inspiration, just throwing in keywords like “hero defeated,” “underfoot,” and “powerful woman,” and things related to that, just to see what came up.
Putting It Together
After getting a rough idea, I started putting it all together. And, honestly, the hardest part was getting the pose right.I spent some time sketching a very simple one.I tried a few different angles and perspectives.
The Final Touches
Once I was happy, I was happy with the result, but then I realized that the background can’t be empty, so I added a simple background to it.
And that was pretty much it! It took a bit of trial and error, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. It’s not perfect, but it captures the idea I had in my head, and that’s what matters, right?
