Alright, so I had to decide between Drake London and Jahan Dotson for my fantasy team. It was a tough call, both of these guys are pretty good, but they have different things going for them.
First, I looked at Drake London. The dude is a beast, a big target. He’s playing with the Falcons, and they seem to like throwing the ball to him. I checked out his stats from last season – not too shabby. He got a decent number of targets, and he made some big plays. I thought, “Okay, this guy could be a solid WR2 for me.”
Then I started digging into Jahan Dotson. He’s with the Commanders, and he’s a bit smaller than London, but man, he’s fast. I watched some highlights, and this guy can fly. He’s a real deep threat, and he can also take those short passes and turn them into big gains. I noticed he didn’t get as many targets as London last year, but he made the most of them. His yards per catch were pretty impressive.
- Compared their situations. London is on a team that’s still figuring things out, but he’s clearly one of their top options. Dotson is on a team with a bit more competition for targets, but they seem to like using him in different ways.
- Weighed the pros and cons. London is the safer bet for consistent targets, but Dotson has that big-play potential that could win me some weeks.
I spent a good chunk of time going back and forth. Read some articles, listened to some podcasts, even asked around on some fantasy football forums. Some people were high on London, others were all about Dotson.
Finally, I made my decision. It was a gut feeling, really. I ended up going with Jahan Dotson. I like his upside, his potential to break out. I think he could be a real difference-maker. I clicked that “Draft” button, and boom, he was on my team.
We’ll see how it plays out, but I’m feeling pretty good about it. It’s all about taking those calculated risks, right? Hopefully, Dotson will light it up this season and make me look like a genius. Fingers crossed!
