Okay, so, I got this crazy idea after seeing some stuff online about that Hasbulla guy and the UFC. I’m not a huge UFC fan, but I know a bit about collecting stuff, and it seemed like a fun little project to mess around with. Hasbulla’s a popular guy and that gave me an idea, a collectible card featuring him.
First thing I did was look up what was already out there. Turns out, Panini, a big name in the trading card world, had already made some Hasbulla cards. They released them online first as “Instant UFC” cards and then later included him in their “Prizm UFC” set. Shiny cards and all. That was a good starting point.
My next step was figuring out how to make my own card. Since I’m not a professional artist, I decided to use some images I found online. I picked a few of my favorite Hasbulla photos, the ones where he’s doing his classic poses. I used some basic photo editing software to clean them up a bit, adjust the colors, and make them look more like trading card material.
- I found a template online for a standard trading card size.
- Then, I picked one of the edited Hasbulla photos and placed it in the center of the template.
- Next, I added some text around the photo, like his name, “Hasbulla,” and maybe a funny quote or a made-up UFC title.
- I played around with different fonts and colors to make it look cool and eye-catching.
- To make it seem more legit, I added the UFC logo in a corner and a Panini logo, I know they already made cards, but this was just for fun.
Here’s how I put the card together:
After I was happy with the design, I printed it out on some decent cardstock paper. It’s not professional quality, but it did the trick for a DIY project. I made a few copies, just in case I messed up. The final touch was putting the card in a protective sleeve, just like real trading cards.
This whole thing was more about the process than making a perfect product. It was fun to learn about the collectible card scene and try my hand at designing something. I’m pretty happy with how my homemade Hasbulla UFC card turned out, even if it’s just a goofy little thing.
The whole project didn’t take more than an afternoon, and it was a nice break from my usual routine. Plus, now I have a unique piece of memorabilia to show my friends. Who knows, maybe I’ll try making more cards in the future. It’s a fun and creative way to combine my interests.
