Okay, so today I decided to dive into the world of funny golfer names. I’ve always gotten a kick out of some of the names I hear on the course, so I figured, why not compile a list? It seemed like a fun, lighthearted project.
First, I brainstormed. I sat down with a pen and paper – yeah, I’m old school like that – and just started jotting down any names that came to mind. I remembered hearing a guy called “Chip” once, and another one introduced as “Fairway Frank”. I thought, “Gotta start somewhere,” right?
Then, I hit up my golf buddies. I sent out a group text, asking for any funny or unusual names they’d encountered. The responses started trickling in, everything is funny, it seems nobody has a proper name.
Next up, the internet! My method to get the names? Nothing fancy. I put my search in and after scrolling for a bit, started compiling names.
