Alright, so I’ve been diving deep into Girls’ Frontline lately, and one thing that always comes up is tier lists. Who’s good, who’s not, who should I be investing in? It’s a rabbit hole, man. So, I decided to make my own darn gfl tier list, based on my own experiences and what I’ve seen work well.

Getting Started: The Basic Idea
First, I needed a way to organize all the T-Dolls. I grabbed a big sheet of paper (yeah, I’m old school) and started making columns. I went with the classic S, A, B, C, D tiers – you know, the usual.
Then, I started listing out all the T-Dolls I’ve actually used. No point in putting someone on the list if I have zero experience with them, right?
The Messy Middle: Figuring Out Who Goes Where
This is where things got tricky. It’s not just about raw stats. I mean, sure, a T-Doll might have amazing firepower, but if her skill is useless or she takes forever to activate it, what’s the point?
So, I started playing a ton of battles. Different formations, different enemy types, the whole nine yards. I took notes on who performed well, who surprised me (in a good or bad way), and who just felt… clunky.
- S Tier: These are my absolute go-to girls. The ones I rely on for the toughest content. They’re strong, versatile, and their skills are game-changers.
- A Tier: Really solid T-Dolls. They might not be as universally amazing as the S-tiers, but they’re still incredibly powerful in the right situations.
- B Tier: These are my “okay” girls. They get the job done, but they might need some extra support or specific team comps to really shine.
- C Tier: Honestly, I don’t use these much. They might have niche uses, but I haven’t found them.
- D Tier: I’m not even going to list it.
The Result: My Very Own Tier List (Work in Progress!)
After hours of playing, note-taking, and rearranging, I finally had something that resembled a tier list. It’s not perfect, and it’s definitely subjective, but it’s mine. I’ve been using it to guide my team building, and it’s been working out pretty well so far.
I keep updating my GFL tier list as I get more experience, new dolls, and new strategies, and balance patches. So far, I think it is quite helpful when I get lost in choosing new dolls.
