Okay, so I’ve been seeing this Genshin Impact perfume web event thing floating around, and I finally decided to dive in. At first, I was like, “What’s this all about?” It sounded kinda interesting, so I figured, why not give it a shot?
First things first, I logged into my Genshin account. Because, you know, gotta be connected to get anywhere, right? Then, I found the event page. It wasn’t super obvious where to go, had to poke around the announcements a bit, but I got there eventually.
Once I was in, the event started with some dialogue. Classic Genshin style, you know? Lots of talking, and Paimon being, well, Paimon. I clicked through the dialogue, not gonna lie, I skimmed some of it. I was more interested in the actual making perfume part!
The core of the event is this little mini-game where you combine ingredients to create different scents. It’s pretty simple. You have these different materials like flowers and fruits, and you drag and drop them into a pot. I tried the first combination and clicked the button for *’s even a cute little animation of the ingredients swirling around. Super charming!
Experimenting With Scents!
- First try: I mixed some flowers and a weird-looking fruit, and boom, got a perfume! It had a description of the scent, which was kinda neat.
- Second try: I just threw in whatever looked cool, and it failed, Haha! Gotta be a little careful, I guess.
- Third try: I followed a hint I saw. It was a great success!
After you successfully make a perfume, you get some rewards. The usual stuff, like Primogems and Mora. Nothing groundbreaking, but hey, free stuff is free stuff, right? I can always use more Primogems!
So yeah, that’s pretty much it. It’s a cute little event, a fun way to kill some time and get some rewards. It’s not super challenging, but it’s a nice little distraction from the usual grind. I spent a good chunk of time just playing around with different combinations, and enjoyed the process of mixing and crafting the perfume. It’s definitely a fun little thing to check out if you’re a Genshin player!
