Okay, so I’ve been meaning to upgrade my golf gear, and I figured the gloves were a good place to start. After doing some digging, I decided to give these G/Fore gloves a shot. I’d heard good things about the quality and that they came in a bunch of colors, so I was curious to see if they lived up to the hype.
First off, I went to their store, it seems like they are based in London somewhere. The gloves were right there on display, and man, they had a ton of options. I mean, we’re talking a rainbow of colors. I spent a good chunk of time just looking at all the different styles. Finally, I settled on a classic white pair because you can’t go wrong with that and a funky camo one, just for kicks.
- When I first put them on, the first thing I noticed was how soft the leather felt. I mean, seriously soft. They call it 100% AA Cabretta, I’m not sure what AA stands for, but maybe it means “awesome” because it is?
- The fit was snug but not too tight. I know some gloves feel like they’re gonna cut off your circulation, but these were comfortable right off the bat.
- I went to the driving range to test them out, and they felt great. Good grip on the club, and my hands didn’t get all sweaty like they sometimes do with other gloves.
Impressions While Wearing Them
I played a full round with them too, and they held up really well. Even after 18 holes, they still looked and felt pretty new. I’ve only had them for a few weeks, so I can’t speak to their long-term durability, but so far, so good.
Honestly, these G/Fore gloves are a solid choice. They’re a bit pricier than some other brands, but you can tell they’re made with quality materials. Plus, with all the color choices, you can find a pair that fits your style, whether you’re a traditionalist or like to stand out a bit. If you’re in the market for some new golf gloves, I’d say give these a try. You might just find your new favorite pair!
