Okay, so I’ve been seeing these Fortnite Series 3 trading cards pop up everywhere, and my inner collector just had to get in on the action. I mean, who doesn’t love a good pack opening, right?
First things first, I hit up a couple of local stores. You know, the usual suspects – Target, Walmart, maybe a game store if I’m feeling lucky. No dice at the first couple of places, which was a bummer. But then, bam! Found a few packs hiding in the back at a smaller shop. Score!
Getting Down to Business
I grabbed a handful of packs, probably more than I should have, but hey, you gotta go big or go home, right? I was itching to see what I could pull. Back home, I cleared off my desk, you know, to give these cards the respect they deserve. It’s like a ritual, gotta have a clean space for the unwrapping.
The Pulls
- First pack… mostly commons. A few decent character skins, but nothing to write home about.
- Second pack… Ooh, a shiny! It was a pretty cool-looking weapon wrap. Still not a super rare, but I’ll take it!
- Third, fourth, and fifth packs… a mix. Some more character skins, a couple of emotes, and a few harvesting tools.
Honestly, it was a bit of a rollercoaster. Some packs were just “meh,” while others had me pumping my fist. That’s the thrill of the chase, I guess! I didn’t get any of the super-duper rare cards, but I definitely added some cool stuff to my collection.
Wrapping it Up
After tearing through all the packs, I took a step back to admire my loot. It was a good haul, even if I didn’t strike gold. Now, it’s time to organize everything. I’ve got some binders and sleeves to keep these cards in tip-top shape. You gotta protect your investment, you know?
