This ball game, you know, between that Fatih Karagümrük and Trabzonspor, it’s a real head-scratcher. They play in some big league, I heard. Big time stuff, not like the games we used to have in the field back home.
I seen some things, let me tell you. I heard that Trabzonspor, they won 4 games. And one time, it was a tie, all even steven. And they say, both these teams, they score a whole bunch. Like 4 goals each game, on average. Sounds like a lot of running to me. My old knees wouldn’t hold up for that, no sir.
Now, this Fatih Karagümrük, they been scoring good this year. Like, 2 goals a game. That’s what they say. They must have some young fellas with strong legs. I remember when my boy was young, he could run like the wind. Now he just sits and watches these games on the TV.
They got all these fancy words for it, you know. “Head-to-head” and “predictions.” Like they’re some kind of fortune tellers. Back in my day, we just played the game and saw what happened. No need for all this fancy talk. They even got tags for these teams like “Fatih Karagmrk SK” and “Fatih Karagumruk Fc“. What’s that even mean?

I saw on the magic box, that one time, Fatih Karagümrük beat Trabzonspor real good. Like 4 to 1. That was back in December, 2022. Some fella named Ozdoev scored first. And then someone named F. helped him. They play at this big place called Atatrk Olimpiyat Stadı. Big fancy name.
They got all these numbers, too. Like “Avg. time 1st goal conced.” What in the world does that mean? Sounds like gibberish to me. But they do say that it was Trabzonspor at this Atatrk place.
Another time, they played on a Sunday, October 29th, 2023. That’s what I heard. It was at 1:00 in the afternoon. A whole bunch of people were there, they said. 2 whole people! Can you imagine? At that same big place, Ataturk.
More of that “Avg. time 1st goal conced” stuff. More numbers. My head is spinning just thinking about it. Makes my eyes cross.
They say you can follow this whole thing, this game between Fatih Karagümrük and Trabzonspor, on something called “Eurosport.” And it’s on October 29th at 1:00 PM. Guess that’s for folks who really like to watch these things.
And get this, they even got something called “live coverage” of the Trabzonspor vs. Fatih Karagümrük game on this thing called “ESPN.” They show the score and everything, live! Like it’s happening right then and there. It’s all a bit much for me, if you ask me.
They play so many times, these two. It’s hard to keep track. Seems like they’re always playing each other. And they got all these fancy names for the leagues, too. “Sper Lig,” “Turkish Super Lig.” Sounds like a superhero competition or something.
I don’t know, it’s all beyond me. I just like to see a good game, you know? Good, clean fun. Not all these numbers and fancy names. But hey, that’s the way things are these days, I guess. Kids these days and their fancy sports. Back in my day, we were happy with a stick and a ball. Times were simpler then.
