Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this game, right? And there’s this new skin that just dropped, the Fanguard skin for this character, Fang. I first heard about it a while back, during one of those developer update videos, I think it was on April 20, 2024. They hyped it up, and I was like, “Yeah, I gotta check this out.”
Now, the big question was, is this thing gonna be, like, a limited-time deal, or could I just snag it whenever? Because, you know, if it wasn’t exclusive, I could just hold onto my gems and wait it out, maybe grab a collector’s pack for Stu in the meantime or something like that.
First, I started digging around, trying to figure out if anyone else had this skin. Honestly, I think I’ve only seen one other player rocking it in the game. But it looks so cool! It’s quickly become one of my favorites, and I’m pretty sure this Fanguard is actually the Draco skin. But hey, that’s just me.
The main thing I wanted to know was if I could still get this skin after the initial offer was gone. I mean, it had a timer on it, and the last one, the Ferocious Fang, was limited, so I was kinda sweating it. I looked around, and it seems like you gotta unlock these things by just playing the game, either in regular matches or the Zombies mode. Apparently, there are, like, 12 of these characters you can unlock right from the start, so that’s pretty sweet.
Then I found this list of all the Operator skins in the game. It looks like they’ve got a whole bunch of them, and most of them are available just by playing. Sweet! I saw some people talking about how this Fanguard skin is an “Epic” rarity, which I guess means it’s got some special animations and stuff, which is pretty cool. And it turns out, they released the skin on September 28, 2024, which is good to know. I finally got it!
- Played a ton of matches: I had to grind a bunch of games, both in Multiplayer and Zombies mode.
- Unlocked the Fanguard skin: After playing for a while, I finally unlocked it!
- Showed off my new skin: Jumped into some matches and started showing off my new Fanguard skin.
So, yeah, that’s my little adventure with the Fanguard skin. It’s a pretty sweet skin, and I’m glad I was able to get it. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go kick some butt in the game with my awesome new look!
