Today I wanna talk about this thing called “Eastin Ashby”. You know, I first heard about it when I was looking up some baseball stuff online. Yeah, I’m a big fan of the Cleveland Guardians, and I stumbled upon this name, Eastin Quantrill, and then “Eastin Ashby”. Turns out, she’s married to Cal Quantrill, one of the pitchers for the Guardians. That’s cool and all, but that wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. So I dug a little deeper.
It seems like Eastin Ashby is also an athlete, a basketball player to be precise. I found something that said she’s a guard, and her number is 43. She must be pretty good, right? It also mentioned that she felt that running around the court for 40 minutes wasn’t enough. Man, she must have a ton of energy! I can barely run for 10 minutes without getting winded.
Then I kind of went down a rabbit hole and started reading about this other guy, Andy Ashby, who apparently played for a bunch of different baseball teams. 15 teams! That’s crazy. I guess the “Ashby” name just got me curious. This whole thing started with baseball, turned into basketball, and then back to baseball again. My brain’s all over the place now.
My Investing Journey
- Started with stocks: I also started messing around with stocks. It is totally a new world for me.
- Learned the basics: Then I learned the basic ideas of how the stock market works, long-term investing versus trading, and all that jazz.
- Read a lot: There is this site called The Motley Fool, I read a few articles there.
- Still learning: I’m still trying to figure this whole investing thing out. It is complicated.
Anyway, back to Eastin Ashby. I couldn’t find a whole lot more about her, to be honest. There are some general tips about investing, tools and books. There isn’t much specific stuff on her out there, at least not that I could easily find. It’s like she’s a bit of a mystery. But hey, that makes it kind of interesting, right? Maybe she’s just focused on her game and doesn’t care too much about being in the spotlight. That’s pretty cool if you ask me.
So yeah, that’s my little adventure with the name “Eastin Ashby”. Started with baseball, took a detour through basketball, a little bit on another baseball player, and then I ended up thinking about stocks and investing. It’s funny how one thing can lead to another, isn’t it? My mind’s like a pinball machine sometimes, bouncing all over the place. But hey, at least I learned a few things along the way, even if it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for in the first place.
