Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with finding some nice spots, I called them “bliss locations.” Basically, just places that feel good, you know? I’ve heard people talk about this, so I wanted to give it a shot myself and see what I could find.

First, I grabbed my phone and opened up the map. I figured I’d start local, no need to go crazy on the first try. I zoomed in on my neighborhood and just started looking around for parks, green spaces, anything that looked a little different.
I spotted a small park a few blocks away that I’d never actually been to. It was kind of tucked away, so I’d always just walked right past it. I decided that would be my first stop.
- Walked over to the hidden park.
- Found a quiet bench under a big tree.
- Just sat there for a while, listening to the birds.
It was surprisingly peaceful! Definitely a good start. I sat there for maybe 20 minutes, just chilling and enjoying the quiet.
Next, I wanted to try something a little different. I remembered a coffee shop downtown that had a really cool outdoor patio. I figured it might be busy, but worth checking out.
- Headed downtown to the coffee shop.
- Grabbed an iced coffee.
- Snagged a table on the patio.
It was pretty crowded, but I managed to find a small table in the corner. Even though there were people around, the vibe was still really relaxed. The coffee was good, too, which always helps!
My thoughts so far?
It’s actually pretty easy to find these little “bliss locations” once you start looking. It’s more about taking the time to appreciate them, I think. Even a busy coffee shop patio can feel pretty blissful if you’re in the right mindset.I will plan to find more interesting places next time!
