Okay, so I got curious the other day about whether Jared Goff, you know, the quarterback, has a Super Bowl ring. I mean, the guy’s been around the NFL for a while, right? So, I started digging.
First, I checked out his career stats, just to get a general overview. It turns out he’s been in the league since 2016, and he started with the Los Angeles Rams. That’s where the story got interesting for me.
I remembered that the Rams went to the Super Bowl a few years back. It took me a second, but then I recalled it was Super Bowl LIII in 2019. They played against the New England Patriots, a tough team with a strong defense and experienced players.
So I looked up the results of that game. Turns out, the Rams lost to the Patriots. It was a close one, but the final score was 13-3 in favor of the Patriots. Bummer for the Rams, and for Goff.
Then I did some more digging to see if maybe Goff had won a Super Bowl with another team since then. But nope, he’s been with the Detroit Lions for the past few seasons, and they haven’t made it to the Super Bowl during his time there.
So, after all this searching, the answer to my question is pretty clear: Jared Goff does not have a Super Bowl ring. He got close in 2019 with the Rams, but they fell short.
- Checked Jared Goff’s career stats
- Recalled Rams in Super Bowl LIII (2019)
- Looked up Super Bowl LIII results (Rams lost to Patriots 13-3)
- Checked if Goff won with another team (No)
- Concluded: Jared Goff has no Super Bowl ring
It’s a shame, really. He’s a talented player, and it would’ve been cool to see him get that ring. But hey, that’s the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. Maybe he’ll get another shot at it in the future. Who knows? I’ll be rooting for him, that’s for sure.
