Okay, so I’ve been digging into the Dallas Cowboys vs. Detroit Lions game stats, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. Started off this morning with a cup of coffee and a goal: to really understand what went down between these two teams.
First off, I pulled up all the past games between the Cowboys and the Lions – found like 22 of them. It was a bit overwhelming, but hey, I’m committed. I made a list of them in my notebook, just writing down the dates and scores. Nothing fancy, just getting a feel for their history.
Then, I got this idea to make some visuals. I’m not a designer, but I messed around with some fonts. Tried out this one called “Bioweapon”, which looked kinda cool, all sleek and modern. Might use it later, who knows. It’s always on the sophisticated side, right?

After that, I went down a rabbit hole looking for the Detroit Lions logo. Wanted to print it out, maybe even color it, just for fun. Found a bunch of printable versions online, compatible with iPad and Android tablets and whatnot. Also stumbled upon some fan art of the Detroit Tigers logo – totally unrelated, but it caught my eye. Some guy was asking for an alpha bracelet design with the Tigers logo, 20 strings or less. Interesting, but not what I needed.
I did think about making a video about all this. Found this thing called InVideo, which supposedly makes it easy with templates and stuff. I signed up, it’s free, so why not? Haven’t tried it yet, but maybe I will when I have more time. It looks pretty user-friendly, even for someone like me who’s never edited a video in their life.
My Summary
Then, it got a bit technical. I started looking into something called VOR-DME related to the Dallas-Fort Worth airport. It’s some kind of navigation thing, and I saw the terms “omnibearing selector” and “TO indication” set at 253 degrees. I pretended I knew what all that meant, jotted it down, and moved on.
Browsed through some open-source community stuff, something about web compatibility and reporting bugs. Skimmed it, really. I’m more into the game stats than browser stuff. Also found this list of house-tech music – Steve Angelo, Tiga, all those guys. Made a mental note to check it out later. Good background music while I work. I feel like I can be more efficient with such a great vibe.
Oh, and I read a bit about software-defined vehicles. Apparently, they’re a big deal in the auto industry. All about intelligent systems and edge processing, making cars safer and more personalized. Not sure how it relates to football, but it sounded cool. Maybe the Cowboys or Lions are using this tech in their training, haha.
So, yeah, that’s been my day so far. From game stats to logos to car tech, it’s been a mix of everything. I still need to actually analyze the player stats for the last game, but I’ll get to that. For now, I’ve got a notebook full of random info and a head full of ideas. It’s not every day you dive this deep into something, but when you do, you find all sorts of interesting things. This is fun, isn’t it? Maybe I will make a summary of the next big match between these two great teams!
