Well, let me tell ya, this here CS2 thing, it’s takin’ up a whole lotta space on that there computer thingy. I heard folks sayin’ it needs like, 93 GB? That’s a heap o’ space, more than my old photo albums, I reckon. I don’t know how they measure it in these ‘GB’ things, back in my day we just said it took up a lot or a little! Anyways, them young’uns are always playin’ it, shootin’ and yellin’ at that screen. It’s like a whole ‘nother world in there, I tell ya.
What’s this CS2 all about, anyway? From what I gather, it’s some kind of game where you shoot at other folks. Sounds kinda violent to me, but the grandkids seem to love it. They say it’s like that old CS:GO game, but fancier. More shiny, they say. More things takin’ up space on the hard drive, if you ask me! All them fancy graphics and what not. They tell me it ain’t just a new coat of paint, though. The whole thingamajig underneath is different, they say. Engines and animations and whatnot. Sounds complicated.
Now, they say you gotta have a good computer to play this here CS2. Somethin’ about ‘threads’ and ‘RAM.’ Don’t ask me what that means, sounds like somethin’ from the sewing circle. But they say you need at least 8GB of that RAM stuff. And somethin’ called a “Windows 10” – I guess that is the screen thingy, like our old TV but smaller, I suppose. And a good “processor” – I don’t know what that is but sounds like a food maker to me! And space, of course. Gotta have that 93 GB or whatever it is. Seems like a lot of work just to shoot at some pretend fellas on a screen, if you ask me. Back in my day we shot real varmints with real guns. Didn’t need no fancy computers for that.
- Space Requirements: They say it takes up around 35-40 GB after you install it. But then they go and say you need 85 GB free to even start installin’! Make up your mind, will ya? Sounds like them city slickers tryin’ to confuse us simple folk. So best have a big empty space on that there hard drive of yours, just in case.
- Why so Big?: Like I said, it’s all them fancy graphics and whatnot. And they changed the whole insides of the game, they say. More stuff means more space, I guess. It’s like addin’ more rooms to your house – gotta have more land for it, right?
I heard some folks sayin’ it was only 30 GB to download at first, but then they added more stuff and now it’s bigger. They keep changin’ it, addin’ things, fixin’ things. It’s like that old tractor Pa used to have – always somethin’ needin’ fixin’ or tunin’. Except with this here CS2, they do it all through that there internet thingy. Magical, I tell ya.
And then there’s the graphics card. They say you need a good one of them too, if you wanna see all them fancy shootin’ and explosions in all their glory. I don’t know nothin’ ’bout graphics cards, but they sound expensive. Seems like this here CS2 is a rich man’s game. All this fancy equipment, all this space… back in my day, we played hopscotch with a rock and a piece of chalk. Didn’t cost a dime.
So, if you’re thinkin’ ’bout gettin’ this here CS2, make sure you got enough space. That 93 GB, or whatever it is. And a good computer, with all them threads and RAM and whatnot. And a fancy graphics card, if you wanna see things real purdy. Me? I’ll stick to my crossword puzzles. Takes up a lot less space, and it don’t make near as much noise. And it don’t cost a fortune and you sure don’t need no 93 GB of space for that.
In Conclusion, this CS2 sounds like a whole heap of trouble if you ask me. Too much space, too much money, too much noise. But those young’uns, they sure do love it. So, I guess there must be somethin’ to it. Just make sure you got enough room on that there computer thing, and enough money in your pocketbook, before you go jumpin’ into this here CS2 business.
